# AI Triage

> Add runbook matches and similar past alerts to every new alert in the organisation.

AI Triage adds investigation context to new alerts. It is an organisation-wide policy under **Settings → Incident Policies → AI Triage** and is off by default.

When an owner or admin enables it, Warrn adds two kinds of context:

* **Runbook matches** from Warrn Knowledge and connected sources such as Confluence.
* **Similar past alerts** that may show responders how the same problem was handled before.

The setting applies to every team and service. There are no separate team or service switches.

## What this setting does not control

AI Triage does not control [auto-grouping](/components/alerts/grouping), exact re-fire [episodes](/components/alerts/noise), or Warrnagen investigations and chat. Those are separate features with separate behavior.

Disabling AI Triage stops new automatic runbook and past-alert suggestions. It does not remove context already attached to older alerts.
