# Jira

> Create and link Jira issues from alerts and incidents.

Warrn connects to Jira so you can create and link issues directly from alerts and incidents. Warrnagen can also search Jira for related issues during investigations.

## Setup

    In Warrn, go to **Settings > Integrations**. Find Atlassian and click **Connect**. Authenticate with your Atlassian account. This grants access to both Jira and Confluence.

    Open a service or team in Warrn. Go to the **Integrations** tab, add **Jira**, and select which Jira project to use.

  Use a [bot account](/integrations/bot-account) for the Atlassian OAuth connection so it doesn't break if someone leaves.
